Focus 5 Recruitment are working with a full service B2B PR agency who are on a huge growth curve. This company are winning more & more work on a weekly basis and so are needing an experienced Senior PR Account Manager to join their growing team.

They are looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, creativity, and a sharp sense for a story. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of published work, PR or client-facing experience, and the ability to juggle multiple projects. Responsibilities include crafting compelling content, executing PR campaigns, and managing client relationships.

Key responsibilities for the Senior PR Account Manager –

• Develop and implement strategic PR plans and campaigns for clients.
• Craft and distribute press releases, pitch content and other PR materials to journalists.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
• Monitor and analyse media coverage and PR campaign performance.
• Handle crisis communications and provide media training to clients.
• Coordinate and manage press events, enquires, media interviews, and other PR activities.
• Develop comprehensive PR and content strategies to achieve client objectives and deliver exceptional campaigns

Senior PR Account Manager experience we’re looking for -

• 5+ years of experience in PR, content creation, or newsroom roles, with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with strong presentation abilities and media relationships.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, SEO best practices, and PR tools like Hootsuite, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills, able to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in PR agencies or newsrooms, confident in pitching to journalists, and familiar with graphic design and video production tools.

Preferred Qualifications –

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• NCTJ qualified highly desired but not completely necessary.
