Content Manager
Posted 25/11/2024 by Ambitions Personnel
A leading name in the machinery supply and dealer industry across the UK and Western Europe, is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic team. Based out of the Newark depot, this is a standalone role with plenty of room for growth and personal development, offering you the chance to make a significant impact and shape the marketing efforts. You will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for creating engaging content across various platforms to drive awareness and build the brand.
This position is perfect for someone looking for a hands-on, varied role with plenty of independence and responsibility. If you are a self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for content creation and digital marketing, we want to hear from you!
You will be a passionate individual with experience in digital marketing and a strong understanding of industries like agriculture, forestry, and construction, as many of your clients come from these sectors. While you will be empowered to outsource SEO and design tasks, the core responsibility for content creation, strategy, and management will rest with you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop valuable, relevant, and consistent content such as blog posts, videos, infographics, and case studies. In-house production of content will be prioritised, with optional outsourcing for design if required.
- Social Media Management: Manage platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to engage with audiences and build brand awareness. You'll create a content calendar and work on a combination of company posts and employee-generated content.
- Email Campaigns: Plan and execute targeted email campaigns to nurture relationships, share news, and promote content.
- Analytics & SEO: Analyse the performance of digital campaigns and optimise content for search engines, working with outsourced SEO providers when necessary.
- Event Coordination: Manage key events and exhibitions, ensuring they deliver a return on investment, and contribute to the overall marketing strategy.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee customer-facing merchandise and corporate wear, ensuring everything aligns with brand guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred)
- At least 3 years of digital marketing experience
- Strong writing, communication, and creative skills
- Experience in SEO, social media management, and email marketing
- A good understanding of the agriculture, forestry, or construction industries is highly desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms
