Marketing Manager

Having recently celebrated a number of new client wins and expanded their technical team, they are now scaling their Commercial team with this new role of Marketing Manager for further growth with this critical hire. This is a full mix marketing role looking at developing their brand proposition, raising awareness and generating leads which translate to revenue.
Reporting into the Commercial Director and as part of the Senior Leadership team, key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include:-
- Owning the company Marketing Strategy and accountability for generating opportunities at the top of the sales funnel.
- Leading their content strategy – existing channels include social media, blogs and email.
- Leading their website and SEO strategy, ensuring their messaging is appropriate and drives online engagement.
- Managing and growing their customer/prospect CRM - HubSpot system.
- Identifying suitable events (physical and online) and delivering successful end to end campaigns to promote such events.
- Proactively identifying new opportunities and channels for them to build awareness of their company proposition.
- Defining and delivering a Partner Marketing Strategy for key industry partners.
The above is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and it is expected that the successful candidate will proactively identify additional opportunities to deliver value and revenue from Marketing perspective.
What are they looking for in a Candidate?
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a senior Marketing role
- Proven ability to drive additional revenue through tailored marketing initiatives
- Someone who can demonstrate a proactive approach to generating sales opportunities
- Strong commercial acumen and an inquisitive approach
- Background working in a technology business
- Someone who is comfortable interfacing with Sales and Technical functions
- A candidate who is able to translate technology heavy concepts back into business value for Board Level customers
- Experience in the Data Ecosystem is an advantage
If this role is of interest, it is imperative that you are commercially focused, understanding that marketing needs to demonstrate a Return on Investment, either through direct lead generation or driving business critical leading indicators.
It is important that you have broad marketing experience and have technology sector expertise. Candidates need to be either leading a marketing function presently or have a clear desire to do so for a fast-growing business. They are a remote first business, so this is primarily a home-based role, with an occasional requirement to travel within the UK. Candidates do need to be located in the UK.
