Our client is a water and environment business with an industry recognised leadership team. They are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to continue their rapid growth within the sector. Their clients include B2B and B2C. This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your ability to help grow their business within existing and new markets. 

They are a fully remote team with colleagues situated across the country, including London, Birmingham and Glasgow - but don’t worry, they still provide opportunities to socialise with colleagues throughout the year.

About the Role

They are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads and drive sales growth across all channels. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the trade industry, experience in B2B marketing, and an interest in environmental consultancy within development and planning. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's business goals. This includes market research, competitive analysis, and identifying growth opportunities in their specialist market.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimise marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, email, social media, and events. Ensure campaigns are targeted, measurable, and deliver a strong ROI.
  • Manage the company’s website and social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand messaging and technical excellence.
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, including blogs, whitepapers, and videos, maintaining high standards of quality and relevance. 
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media management.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content, including blog posts, case studies, videos, and product guides. Collaborate with the sales team & technical team to create content that supports lead generation and customer retention.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are within budget and deliver value for money. Regularly report on marketing spend and campaign performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Or CIM Diploma or postgraduate level qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (including Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO/SEM, CRM systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in managing a marketing budget and demonstrating ROI.
