Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Setter to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The Setter will be responsible for preparing and setting up machinery for production.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate components as needed
- Use hand tools to assemble parts accurately
- Apply basic maths skills to measure and cut materials
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machinery issues
- Set up tooling and adjust settings for optimal performance
- Work with sheet metal to create components
Skills
- Proficient in welding, grinding, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Competent in assembling components accurately
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machinery
- Familiarity with tooling and adjusting settings
- Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous
