Digital Marketing Officer
Location: Hybrid / 2 Days a week in office in Rotherham
A leading Software company are looking for a Digital Marketing Officer. Work to include, but is not limited to: planning, creating, developing and implementing all aspects of our digital marketing strategy to reach more people, generate leads, and build a stronger relationship with our audiences.
Job Function
- Social Media: Plan, create and coordinate a schedule of activity across our LinkedIn and YouTube platforms to expand our social media audience base
- Email Marketing: Plan, create and manage a regular schedule of email marketing activity and creating engaging and relevant content including testing to optimise results
- Product Marketing: Ensure product descriptions are up to date, create brochures and promotional materials for all departments across the business to share with potential clients
- Brand Guidelines: To assist in the development of brand guidelines and ensure compliance in all areas of work
- Content: Write engaging content for a variety of audiences that is consistent with brand guidelines. Keeping up to date and informed about all aspects of our work
- Reporting: Monitor, report and analyse marketing campaign results to improve performance so that amendments and improvements can be made where appropriate
- Website: Ensure that the content is up to date, has a consistent tone of voice, user journeys are clear and performance of content is measured against clear KPI’s
Knowledge, skills and experience
- B2B marketing experience essential
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong writing skills with ability to produce compelling copy
- Proof reading and editorial skills with a good eye for detail
- Strong analytical and ICT skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Analytics and SEO experience
- Experience of managing social media campaigns
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Knowledge of marketing principles and brand management
- Knowledge of effective social media techniques and strategies
Desirable skills
- Video creation/editing experience. In both live capture and animation skills
- Experience in photography and image editing
- Basic HTML editing skills
