Location: HQ is in Central Beds but the role is hybrid - 2 days in the office 3 at home with the odd trip abroad required so a UK passport is required 

Salary: A competitive one will be on offer and it is open to negotiations depending on the individuals experience and qualifications (with a ceiling banding, of course)

Days/Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (35 hrs per week) 

Due to exciting transitioning of this global company, the role of Marketing Manger has come about - and it is quite an exciting time and opportunity to come on board and really make your mark! 

Overview 
To ensure effective positioning of the  brand through the development and execution of the marketing strategy and the daily marketing operations.
This will involve being a fundamental driver in the future innovative direction of the brand with a focus on digital and social marketing as well as relationship driven growth marketing.

Key functions:

  • Deliver the day to day operational marketing plans on time and in line with the budget
  • Plan, implement and evaluate marketing campaigns that deliver the core marketing objectives including the management of the digital marketing campaigns
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate the companies  UK marketing strategy to transform the  brand in both the UK market and the global arena


Team?
You will be responsible for line management of the Marketing Team (2 in situ) whilst also working closely with:

  • Sales team – to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Training team – to ensure accurate and regular promotion of courses on offer to clients 
  • Senior Managers and Technical Resource – to ensure accurate and timely content and increased and accurate client communications
  • The global team  to support core marketing functions globally

Key Duties 

  • Ensure accurate and effective content is published to consistently deliver on lead generation activities to ensure business growth and continuing success
  • Creation, organisation, publication, and attendance of all marketing activities in line with marketing plans including copy writing, PR, promotions, webinars, conferences, seminars and communication
  • Plan, implement and deliver promotional and digital campaigns 
  • Ensure regular review of content and accurate promotion of services offered, including regular updates and accurate maintenance of  the companies digital platforms including the website, social media, PPC, SEO and other digital mediums. Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing activities and communications
  • Day to Day responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Maintain and update relevant marketing databases
  • Provide guidance to EMEA agents, USA and India on brand and marketing delivery including liaising with colleagues in the USA and India to ensure the effective marketing of the brand and promotion of core standards, events and business activities 
  • Manage and enforce the marketing team’s administrative systems on an on-going basis (Publications library, photo bank, electronic files, design archive etc)


Person Specification Requirements (essential)

Marketing Degree or equivalent 
Professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
Proven and extensive knowledge, skills and experience of all aspects of marketing theories and practice (advertising, PR, direct mail, events, printed materials, promotional materials, new media and website)
A great leader with excellent management skills ideally, 5 years or so of previous experience leading and managing a marketing team in a similar role 
B2B marketing experience, ideally in professional services offered to businesses, rather than product sales 
proven abilities and  record of planning strategic marketing campaigns both online and offline
budgeting 
Copy Writing 
Digital Marketing 
Social Media 
A great, engaging, inspiring communicator 

Also a full driving licence and passport is required
