THE COMPANY:
We are searching for a Category Marketing Specialist (or CMS), reporting to the Head of EU Marketing - Workplace Health Solutions. The role is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing plans, activities, tools and support for the Workspace Health Division, with a specialised focus on Ergonomic Workspace Solutions, to achieve budgeted shipment and EBITDA goals, in support of the company's vision, strategy and objectives.

THE ROLE:
This role is ideal for a talented and dynamic individual with an excellent track record for implementing category strategy, ideally within a healthcare / workspace environment, within multiple channels, on an international level. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritising market opportunities, consumer needs, positioning and marketing plans. As such you will be a passionate self-starter with an ability to make an immediate and definitive impact on the business performance, possessing the communication skills to present and recommend your findings in a compelling manner.

Implement the category strategy, ensuring that focus areas are prioritised.
Oversee all marketing activities for the division, including campaigns, promotions, sales and marketing tools, assets, and resources.
Promote Workspace Ergonomic Solutions, including monitor arms, and other associated subcategories.
Establish that the business is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones.
Represent the team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, and/or customer support.
Update senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and report on the results of specific projects / tasks.
Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing marketing activities.
Liaise with our internal team and identify/collaborate with external agencies as relevant, to deliver briefs/activities in a timely manner.
Take responsibility for photography / video shoots including compiling the brief/s, identifying, and liaising with agencies as relevant, ensuring that shoot day/s take place in a timely and organised manner and working with the agency to finalise delivery of assets.
Coordinate with the local marketing teams across Europe and Marcoms to produce / execute effective strategies.
Monitor campaigns and activities and analyse data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts.
Monitor activities to ensure that deadlines are achieved, materials are delivered on quality and briefs are met.
Work with the Category Product Manager to assist with the identification of new product ideas.
Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitor's products.
Prepare key presentations and launch documents including relevant launch content such as competitive matrixes, range propositions and positioning, headline GTM strategy and USPs, in conjunction with Category Product Manager and other team members.
Monitor and manage marketing budgets and expenditure wisely and in an organised manner.
Represent and demonstrate our client's Workspace Health expertise at customer meetings and events.
Develop category expertise within the industry. Monitor competitive and market activity. Stay abreast of trends which will influence category development such as technology, workplace, etc.
Provide information to the global teams to enable them to launch products developed in Europe in their markets. (US, AUS, CAN, South Korea).
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

THE CANDIDATE:
Subject matter related further education essential, ideally BA / BSc level.
Proven track record of developing and launching marketing activities, campaigns, and initiatives.
Proven work experience in a marketing team / department or as a marketing manager.
Proven ability to develop marketing initiatives and effectively communicate recommendations.
Experience working in healthcare / workspace environment, ideally on Ergonomic Workspace Solutions.
Good understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, within a B2B / B2C environment.
Able to think creatively and innovatively.
Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design.
Excellent communication skills.
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organisation.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Budget management skills and proficiency.
Numerate and analytical ability.
