Our client is seeking a Creative Content Specialist with a background in electronics engineering or a strong passion for embedded electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding an established in-house content platform, serving a community of over 50,000 design engineers. The successful candidate will produce a range of engaging content, including YouTube-style videos, technical articles, and social media posts, all focused on the latest trends and innovations in embedded electronics. This role also requires regular travel to industry events and exhibitions to capture live content and spotlight emerging developments in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Platform Management: Oversee and grow the in-house content platform, delivering content that resonates with a community of 50,000+ design engineers.
- Video Production: Develop and produce YouTube-style video content, such as tutorials, product reviews, and industry updates, designed to educate and engage the target audience.
- Content Creation & Curation: Write and curate high-quality content for blogs, social media, and the platform, focusing on innovations and trends in embedded electronics.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative strategies for engaging the audience, bringing fresh and innovative ideas.
- Event Coverage: Attend key industry exhibitions and conferences to gather material, interview industry experts, and provide live content for the platform.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with the audience, responding to questions, facilitating discussions, and driving interactions across the platform and social media channels.
- Industry Awareness: Stay current with emerging trends in embedded electronics and propose new content ideas that appeal to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing needs and transform complex technical concepts into accessible and compelling content.
Key Qualifications:
- A background in electronics engineering or a strong personal interest in embedded electronics.
- Demonstrable experience in content creation and management, particularly in video production and editing (YouTube or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, IoT devices, and related technologies.
- Comfortable presenting on camera and able to explain complex technical concepts in an engaging, easy-to-understand way.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for a wide-ranging audience, from beginners to experts.
- Experience managing or contributing to online content platforms or communities.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, SEO, and digital marketing is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly to attend industry events and exhibitions.
- Passionate about learning and keeping up with the latest trends in both marketing and embedded electronics.
