We're looking to recruit for our client who are a well-established business in a creative and strategic Product Development Manager to lead the creation of interior products. You'll manage the product from idea to launch, ensuring it meets market trends, customer needs, and brand values. An eye for market trends is key.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of new home products.

Research market trends and customer preferences.

Work with teams (marketing, sales, R&D) to create products that fit the brand and customer needs.

Write product briefs detailing vision, audience, and goals.

Oversee the full development process from idea to launch.

Manage design, packaging, pricing, and product positioning.

Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality, cost, and deadlines are met.

Track project timelines and budgets.

Work with fragrance experts to create unique scents.

Ensure fragrances match the brand and customer expectations.

Ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards.

Promote sustainability in packaging and sourcing materials.

Work with marketing on launch strategies.

Provide product training to sales teams.

Use sales feedback to improve products.

Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximise profits.

Qualifications and experience:

5+ years in product development

Experience launching products and managing product lifecycles.

Strong project management and analytical skills.

Great communication and negotiation abilities.

Experience with sustainable product development.
