Position:Communications and Marketing Assistant
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,072 per annum
Job Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic person who is keen to develop within an ambitious communications and marketing team. Working closely with colleagues across the team, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a range of exciting and creative campaigns and projects.
This is a varied and exciting role, with the potential for the right candidate to add real value to how we communicate with our colleagues and residents. This is a great opportunity for someone with an excellent level of literacy who is wishing to progress their career within communications and marketing, or someone with an interest in the field and a passion for the housing sector and communicating with our residents.
Day to day you'll work alongside our external communications and marketing partner to deliver our annual external communications plan. You'll develop and lead on our resident-facing social media calendar and website content, evaluating the impact evaluation of the team’s performance and reporting this to our executive team on a monthly basis. You'll support them in working with colleagues across the organisation to identify good news opportunities for our external channels, including our triannual residents magazine.
You’ll support our internal communications partner to deliver key information to colleagues, including updating our well-used intranet, and putting together and delivering a weekly staff newsletter, along with seasonal staff events.
About You
You’ll be creative, with a flair for design and experience using design tools such as Canva. You’ll ideally have a good knowledge of website and social media content management. You’ll be passionate about creating content that engages with diverse audiences on a range of topics.
You will be providing vital administrative support to the busy team, so you’ll need to be organised and enthusiastic, with great attention to detail and the confidence to make creative suggestions and work directly with people at all levels to get the best outcomes.

Location Details
The role is based at our Sevenoaks office. We offer a flexible approach to hybrid working with most full-time employees attending the office two days per week.
