Position: Marketing Officer
Location: St Helens
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
Please note: You MUST be based within a commutable distance to St Helens and be happy to be on-site 5 days a week. Potential flexiblity after probation.
Our client, a small, family-run business, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage social media presence, primarily focusing on LinkedIn, as well as generate leads, improve SEO, maintain a WordPress website, and contribute to content creation and office support.
This is the perfect role for someone looking to kick start their Marketing Career, so maybe you have just graduated in a related field and have some project experience or you have completed an apprenticeship and are looking to further develop your skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies, particularly focusing on LinkedIn to boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple channels to expand the client base.
- Google My Business Management: Optimise and manage the Google My Business profile to improve online visibility and customer reviews.
- SEO Enhancement: Implement SEO strategies to improve the website's search engine ranking and drive organic traffic.
- Website Management: Update and maintain the company's WordPress website, ensuring that content is current, relevant, and SEO-optimised.
- Content Creation: Create industry-related blogs to establish the company as a leader in their sector and engage the audience.
- Email Marketing: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage with both prospects and existing customers.
- Customer Satisfaction Surveys: Design and distribute surveys to gather valuable feedback and assess customer satisfaction.
- Upselling to Existing Customers: Identify opportunities to promote additional products or services to current clients.
- Office Support: Assist with various administrative and marketing-related tasks as needed.
What are we looking for:
- Previous Marketing experience or Education to a Degree level in a Marketing related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Previous experience and proficiency in social media platforms
- Content Creation skills - copywriting and visuals
- Ideally, you will have experience in WordPress
- Ability to analyse data
