Role: Product Marketing Manager
Hybrid, working from home, Mon-Fri
Purpose of Role:
Our client is one on the UK's largest garage equipment providers, and their strategy is to grow their business and increase market share by creating the most comprehensive range of products, brands, and value-added services.
This role requires product management functionality within a multi-brand sales channels which includes development of product, brand, cataloguing, pricing, margin control, availability and aftersales support, to achieve the highest customer service level support in the most efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the relevant support network, ensure we have the correct products and brands to support the needs of our customers
- Maintain and control pricing levels, ensuring market competitiveness and achieve margin expectations based on the needs of the company
- Provide sales forecast to assist with market leading availability levels
- Create enhanced value-added services to maximise revenues and margins
- Provide cataloguing material to support the sales process, including the use of digital technology
- Create sales and promotional activity to maximise revenues and margins
- As well as new product sales, ensure all aftermarket support services are implemented, including product manuals, spare parts and specialised tooling requirements
- To analyse warranty data, ensuring the correct products are selected for the appropriate brand and sales channels and promote continuous improvement
- Work closely with sales team and supply chain creating the right message for key stakeholders
- Research and analyse market trends and competitors
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Marketing degree or similar education
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in B2B marketing
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to create engaging marketing material from technical documentations.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload, as well as working in a team environment
- Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement
- Positive mindset and can-do attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Proficient user of Microsoft office
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Garage Equipment product knowledge would be beneficial, but commercial knowledge would be more advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Margin control and maximise revenue levels
