Reed Marketing & Creative are working with a global business in Birmingham to recruit a Senior Events Manager to sit on site for a 10 month contract. Please note this is to start end of November.

This opportunity is to manage all on site, company and external events which is anything from press releases to VIP events.

General duties include:

• Event management end to end
• Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure finance, venue and security information correct
• On site meetings which will require travel on a weekly basis
• Understanding needs of events and also bringing in new events by being on site and hearing the needs there

The successful candidate will be a true self-starter and truly driven. You will have been an Event Manager previously; and be open to some travel (with one day working from home). You will have worked with sensitive information, and worked with high budgets for major events.
