The Marketing Director within this growing REnewable Energy Business based in Gloucestershire, will play a pivotal role as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), driving the strategic marketing direction and ensuring alignment with the company’s overarching goals. This role demands a visionary leader who can elevate the brand’s presence in the market, foster strong customer engagement, and oversee the execution of compelling marketing campaigns. The Marketing Director will be instrumental in leading a team of four marketing professionals, each specialising in general marketing, social media, PR and communications, and graphic design. The ideal candidate will have experience in brand licensing, with a strong preference for a background in manufacturing, although this is not essential.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Lead and inspire a team of four marketing professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
• Oversee brand licensing agreements, ensuring alignment with the brand’s values and strategic goals.
• Manage and optimise marketing budgets, driving cost-effective campaigns that maximise ROI.
• Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Enhance the company’s digital presence, particularly through social media and online campaigns.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including media, partners, and internal teams.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements and brand guidelines.

 
 
Experience & Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a senior marketing role, ideally as a Marketing Director or Head of Marketing.
• Strong expertise in brand licensing, with a track record of managing successful agreements.
• Experience in the energy, technology, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a marketing team.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong aptitude for public relations.
• Proficient in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
