Sales Account Manager

£32,000 - £35,000 +bonus

Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our client in the sports and education sector. Leading the market in their field, our client is expanding again, and looking for an Account Manager to take over 150-200 established accounts. Someone with energy, personality, reliable, and with a positive work ethic to work at their newly refurbished office in Altrincham.

You must be self-motivated, professional and well presented, being capable of turning prospective new leads into customers and helping to increase business with existing customers in line with the companies objectives. This is a B2B position, allowing you to use your skills to build long term business relationships. In this role, there is a real opportunity to develop and promote individuals who demonstrate the right aptitude and desire to succeed and progress in their role.

Key elements to the Sales Account Manager role include:

• Managing your own account list of 150-200 B2B accounts
• Following up leads generated by the in-house online marketing campaigns
• Helping to manage and maintain our CRM customer database.
• Running sales projects to offer new products to new and existing customers.
• Discussing customers ongoing requirements, gaining product feedback and identifying competitive threats to the business.
• General incoming sales enquiries and customer support, working alongside the rest of the sales team.

Experience needed for the Sales Account Manager role:

• 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales
• Experience handling multiple client accounts
• Proven ability to develop relations with clients
• Proven ability to upsell and expand accounts
