We’re looking for a quick-thinking, organised and versatile Account Manager with exceptional insight to oversee a selection of client accounts and staff members.

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience working in competitive, performance driven sectors and should have a solid understanding of technical SEO and content creation. Other skills required for the role are great communication, leadership and project management skills.

The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering best in class digital marketing solutions to some of the UK’s best up and coming brands and managing ongoing relationships with clients.

If the Account Manager has experience in PPC and/or Paid Social Media this would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities of the role:
Working directly with clients in planning and implementing SEO & PPC campaigns and strategies which add real value to their business.

Overseeing the performance of all client accounts and ensuring that key insights are incorporated into future activity.

Analysing client websites, search results and online marketing data to identify SEO & PPC opportunities within clients’ markets.

Together with the Client Services Director, developing and implementing link building strategies focused on achieving organic & paid reach and SEO & PPC KPIs.

Together with the Client Services Director, maintain the agency’s high client-retention rate by developing and fostering long lasting client relationships.

Ensuring that account work remains profitable, and displaying commercial acumen in the allocation of work against billings.

Recommending changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Monitoring industry trends and updates and report back on insights to the wider team.

Reporting of the role:
This role reports to the Client Services Director.

What you will need:
An excellent understanding of industry standard SEO tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Screaming Frog.

A high degree of numeracy and literacy. Exceptional time-keeping skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of seniority.

Demonstrable Account Management experience in SEO & PPC.

Strong client relationship building experience with excellent presentation skills.

To be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferable experience in leading a team of juniors to success.

Ability to write persuasive business documents including new business proposals and campaign summaries.

Efficient at managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. A proven track record of proactively identifying business opportunities within client targets and strategies.

Ability to pre-empt problems and be proactive in producing solutions.

Commercial understanding and being able to put together ‘Scopes of Work’ and answer client’s briefs.
