Creative Content Specialist / Designer

Permanent, Full Time

37 hours per week (Monday – Friday, flexibility negotiable and part-time hours considered)

Thrive Homes is seeking a passionate Creative Content Specialist to develop high-impact content that engages and inspires both internal and external audiences.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the future by developing internal training materials that empower our team. You'll also be our storytelling hero, weaving captivating messages across every platform – social media, websites, emails, blogs, news pieces, and case studies.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Interpret stakeholder briefs into creative concepts, content and training materials that engage internal and external audiences.
  • Create, own, and update engaging content like how-to guides, explainer videos, eLearning modules, and infographics to educate users on technical systems across the business.
  • Conduct audience research to understand learning styles and behaviours that leverage content development.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform content strategies and optimise performance.
  • Optimise written content to captivate audiences, with application of SEO.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and audience preferences to identify opportunities for content creation and differentiation.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform content strategies and optimise performance.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on best practice for content creation, storytelling and brand voice to ensure consistency across all communications.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring alignment with business project plans and the central marketing calendar.

Requirements:

  • Have demonstrable experience of working in a content development-based role with a portfolio of creative content.
  • Excellent written, design, video recording and editing skills for creating multimedia content.
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Captivate) and other editing tools like Canva.
  • Skilled in video recording and photography.
  • A working knowledge of copyright legislation.
