We are now recruiting for a Marketing Manager to assist in the creation of a global marketing strategy for IMI instrumentation, pulling together multiple different brands and sites to form a cohesive direction for the team.

You will help create new digital material to aid our customers understanding of our new division, building customer personas in different regions and markets and building external support to develop content.

In addition to this as our Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing a rich content / editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, white papers, reports, webinars, infographics etc.).
  • Growing new leads, including marketing qualified leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action and lead generation.
  • Supporting and driving new product launches both internally and externally.
  • Supporting the development of an online website presence with E-Commerce capability.
  • Optimising our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through e-mail, content, and social channels.
  • Building and managing our social media profiles and presence, specifically on linked (and additional channels that may be deemed relevant).
  • Monitoring and engaging in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors and or industry, both from existing leads and customer as well as from brand new audiences.
  • Creating and growing an e-mail marketing database (organically grown, not bought, or rented), manage e-mail campaigns in line with company objectives.
  • Measuring results of marketing activities in order to look to establish a return on investment in order to justify future marketing activities.
  • Educating both internal and external stakeholders about our products features and their benefits.

Critical competencies for success:

  • Degree in Marketing – Undergraduate or Postgraduate level or equivalent experience.
  • Membership of appropriate professional body e.g., CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing).
  • Experience in a similar role within a business environment using marketing, market research and/or product marketing process and techniques.
  • Experience of understanding the concept of the voice of customer and delivering customer excellence / service.
  • Experience of team management.
  • Experience in manufacturing and knowledge of engineered products is desirable.
  • Experience of working within a results driven environment with skills in managing both core process and bringing a creative and innovative approach.
  • Experience of creative ability to produce catalogues, case studies, develop web sites, connect relevant social media to organisational needs.
  • Experience focused on at least one of the following: Communication Marketing, Marketing Management, Management Marketing, Business Economics Marketing, General Marketing, Advertisement Marketing and Marketing and Design
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to work independently, with light direction from line manager.
  • Experience of working within a results driven environment with skills in managing both core process and bringing a creative and innovative approach.
  • Experience in a metrics focused environment including weekly and monthly quarterly reporting and analysis.
  • Strong computer literate skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher or similar).
