EVENT COORDINATOR

FINANCIAL SERVICES 

Mark Allen is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our growing events team within financial services. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our Herne Hill office, with a starting salary of up to £26,000 (DOE) plus benefits. We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported. 

About the Role:

Embark on an engaging journey as you spearhead sponsor-led events for esteemed financial services brands including Portfolio Adviser, Expert Investor, International Adviser, and ESG Clarity. From initial planning to seamless execution, you'll orchestrate the entire event lifecycle, collaborating closely with the team for guidance. Building and nurturing robust relationships with sponsors will be pivotal to your triumph in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of events, from planning and logistics to execution and budget control, ensuring a seamless experience for sponsors and delegates.
  • Support senior team members on larger events.
  • Develop strong relationships with sponsors and internal teams.
  • Oversee venue selection, supplier management, and event website maintenance (Eventscase).
  • Create and maintain operational documents and branded collateral.

What You Will Bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
  • High standards of service and presentation.
  • Team player with the ability to demonstrate transferrable skills to manage events both online and in person and support senior colleagues.
  • Experience working under pressure with excellent organisational and time management skills.
