Are you ready to take on a fabulous opportunity in Web Development?

We have an amazing opportunity for a creative Web Developer to join the marketing team within an education and training provider.

The Web Developer will be responsible for the layout, usability, maintenance and development of existing company websites and the building from scratch of new websites in line with the marketing strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To develop and administer on a day-to-day basis the company websites, ensuring that the sites meet accessibility and search facility standards.
• To manage the development and training of the Content Management Systems (CMS)
• To continually design, develop and evolve the company web technologies to keep it commercially competitive.
• To continually evolve the web technologies and ensure they meet requirements on accessibility (W3C standards)
• Responsible for integrating the company database with the website.
• To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
• Planning of overall company strategy regarding web development and search engine optimisation
• To monitor web server and site technical performance
• To provide training to users on the use of the CMS

Skills / Attributes Required:

• Relevant Web Development experience (PHP or C#)
• Proven HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
• Any knowledge of Craft CMS would be desirable.
• Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation techniques preferred
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Office based in Chichester, West Sussex - 3-4 days a week in the office
