Group Data Insights Controller

Working for an agency who provide a range of specialist sales and marketing services to help brands sell more – through sales and marketing expertise covering field marketing, data and digital products, and consumer experiences.

Using EPOS analytics products to help clients improve availability and visibility while understanding their overall performance in multiple retail and convenience channels (field and head office level). Delivering smarter execution for shoppers.

My client is seeking someone from an FMCG/ Insights background, the main purpose of this role is to oversee and enable the internal Insights teams across the business to create commercial, strategic level insights reports more effectively. The teams utilise PowerBI, Excel and data visualisation tools to interpret raw data, to create compelling insights with powerful storytelling and commentary.

This role will work across the full range of retail and CPG clients and work closely with the inhouse insight analytics teams (using revolutionary analytical tools) to produce reports – the right individual will be from either an FMCG and Client facing background and will be a confident presenter and can make the current insight reports robust enough for suppliers to continue to invest in the insights product.

The teams deliver analysis, coupled with strategic recommendation for top tier suppliers​ and the Group Insights Controller will provide guidance and management on methods to improve reports to specific requirements that drive growth and investment​.

Refine & optimise existing processes and end user ‘report’ experience​.

Drive reporting turnaround performance from teams.

The role is predominantly work from home – with periodic meetings SLT and client meetings

A competitive salary of between to £65-90,000 for Insights Controller

Plus, up to 10% bonus + Car allowance (£575 / month)
