Job Title: English Teacher 

Location: Lancing, West Sussex    September start

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. 

• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and student engagement. 

• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes. 

• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development. 

• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a comprehensive English curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives. 

• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required. 

Requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. 

• Specialism in English language and literature. 

• Experience teaching English at the secondary level is desirable but not essential. 

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
