Science Teacher (KS3) – Dover, Kent

We are seeking a talented KS3 Science Teacher to join our team of educators in Dover, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive science lessons to Key Stage 3 students, nurturing their curiosity and helping them develop a strong foundation in scientific principles.

Your Role:

• Plan and deliver stimulating science lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Key Stage 3 students.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to make science concepts accessible and engaging.
• Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

• Create hands-on, inquiry-based activities to encourage student participation and critical thinking.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable
• In-depth knowledge of the KS2 Science curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (Or willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
