We’re looking for a dedicated post-graduate Product Marketing Assistant to join our small, friendly Marketing team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Head Office in Castle Donington, with the opportunity for some flexible home working once trained.

The Role

As a Product Marketing Assistant, you will support in driving the commercial success of the Medstrom product portfolio and support the achievement of company objectives. In this development role, you will assist in managing the introduction of new Medstrom products on time and to budget to the wider market.

You will support with:

- The introduction of new products in line with company marketing procedures
- Make recommendations on product additions, gaps in the portfolio or capitalise on market opportunities
- Keep up to date with competitor products and new product launches
- Understand competitor price positioning in the market and make recommendations
- Shadow members of the sales team to gain an understanding of their needs
- Assist in the creation of marketing for the product range
- Create video content to support internal and external training
- Present recommendations on specific marketing campaigns to help in the achievement of sales objectives
- Champion the gathering and utilisation of clinical evaluation data
- Analyse sales data across the product portfolio, and make recommendations

Working hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (we can be flexible to fit around travel).

About You

To be considered as a post-graduate Product Marketing Assistant, you will need:

- Possess a degree in either marketing, advertising, business or similar
- Relevant experience within a marketing environment or a placement year would be desirable
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and process-driven
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Friendly and approachable, a strong team player, but assertive when required
- Customer-oriented (internal and external), with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service
- Results-oriented, with a clear focus on commercial success
