Job Description

You will be line managed by the UK External Communications Manager who will oversee your day-to-day work and set your objectives. You will work within the Group Marketing & Communications department.

Key duties will include all project management activities relating to the organisation and execution of UK events including:

  • The venue selection and booking
  • Management of delegate lists and RSVPs
  • Liaison with event speakers
  • Preparation of event content such as event programmes, invites and speaker PowerPoints
  • Using Adobe Suite to produce promotional event material such as Infographics, Adverts and any other content for use on websites and social media platforms
Qualifications
  • Professional qualification or Degree in relevant area is required
  • Competent working with graphic design packages across the Adobe Suite, such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Confident oral and written communicator, able to lead meetings and brief stakeholders of varying seniority  
  • Very organised, proactive, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Commercially savvy and creative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Capable of appreciating differing working styles and being flexible to the preferences of others

Additional Information

Location of work 

London (hybrid) two days in London Covent Garden office. Occasional travel to Blackburn and some international travel when required.

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK BPSS security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum BPSS level.
