When your groceries arrive at your door or you sign for your online parcel, one or more of our software, telematics or proof-of-purchase solutions have probably been used. As our brand-new Marketing Executive, you will report to our PR & Communications Manager and work closely with the wider UK Marketing team to execute core marketing functions for the Microlise Group.  We want you to play an active role in the creation of new content for various uses, including across our paid, earned, shared, and owned marketing campaigns.

What you will be doing day to day:

  • Work closely with the PR & Communications Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to support the growth and development of the Microlise brand
  • Create educational content to be shared across multiple company platforms, including its main website, social media channels, and internal intranet
  • Contribute to social media planning, writing, and scheduling to support brand awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation
  • Copywrite for targeted nurture campaigns and schedule communications via the company’s e-mail automation tool
  • Support the creation of material for earned media campaigns, including thought leadership articles, editorial contributions, case studies, and award submissions
  • Produce monthly reports to document and review the success of the team’s paid, earned, shared and owned activities
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team, providing support where necessary

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in content creation, whether in-role, as part of a degree or as a personal interest
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to tailor content for multiple target audiences 
  • An active interest in Digital Marketing, with a strong desire to upskill
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to report back and derive actionable insights from data 
  • A creative mindset and the ability to craft interesting and thought-provoking content
  • A confident communicator, collaborating with team members and engaging with the wider business when necessary
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising and meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as social media management tools and e-mail marketing software
  • A team player who can work well with cross-functional teams, positively contributing to overall the dynamic
  • A passion and enthusiasm for marketing, with a positive can-do and result driven attitude

It would be desirable if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing 
  • Knowledge and interested in the Logistics and Transportation industry
