Recruitment solutions are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join a reputable company based in Dudley.
THIS IS A JOB SHARE ROLE 20 HOURS PER WEEK....
The candidate will be responsible for -
-Preparing and entering supplier invoices
-Authorise and process supplier BACS payments
-Control and reconcile daily/weekly/monthly petty cash
-Reconcile company credit card statements and receipts
-Update all aspects of the purchase ledger using Sage 50
-Extract financial reports for liaison with the company director
-Process VAT returns
-Work closely with the office manager, company accountant and Sales Ledger Agent
-Respond and resolve accounts queries via, email, letter, and phone.
Other duties will include general administration, taking calls, processing card payments, filing, preparing quotes and contracts.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Knowledge of Sage 50 essential
Knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
Experience in accounts/finance/ is essential.
Require minimum Level 1 Bookkeeping/Accounts.
Experience in a fast-paced office environment is essential.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Ability to work under pressure
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
