Are you ready to lead a national communications campaign driving the transition to advanced metering systems in support of sustainability objectives? We're seeking a Senior Digital Manager to play a pivotal role in optimising digital channels for our client.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you'll take charge of developing and enhancing our client's owned digital platforms, including the website and search channels. Utilising your digital expertise, you'll harness data insights to maximise campaign effectiveness and ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Location: South East London, Hybrid model
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimisation of owned digital channels, including website and search strategies.
  • Utilise digital data and audience insights to drive campaign effectiveness and support organisational objectives.
  • Implement a test and learn approach to continuously improve marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to ensure alignment and synergy across channels.
  • Line manage a team of digital experts, including Search Manager, Website Manager, and Senior Digital Marketing Executive.


Key Requirements:

  • Solid grasp of digital marketing best practices, including the processes necessary for effective digital channel output.
  • Prior experience managing a brand or organisation's website.
  • Proficiency in analysing digital performance data and utilising dashboards.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend digital test and learn approaches within established test environments.
  • Experience collaborating with website development teams, overseeing content and functionality enhancements.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to cookies and website user tracking.
  • Experience coordinating with search marketing and SEO teams, including strategy development and optimising for paid and organic search.
  • Familiarity with the latest advancements in search marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of mentoring and managing team members.


Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Umbraco CMS.
  • Proficiency in using GA4 for analytics.
  • Experience with web functionality testing tools such as Google Optimise or Optimisely.
  • Knowledge of AI tools' application in marketing.
