Workday FINS Integration Consultant

My client is seeking a Workday Fins Integration Consultant to join their integration team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical aspects of implementing and supporting Workday Financial Management (Fins) modules, including integrations, reports, and customizations. The candidate should have experience in Workday Fins, with a strong technical background and expertise in Workday Studio, Integration Cloud (formerly Core Connectors), EIBs, and other Workday technical tools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather integration requirements and understand business needs related to Workday Fins.
• Design and develop complex Workday Fins integrations using Workday Studio, ensuring efficient data flow and system compatibility.
• Implement and maintain integrations while adhering to best practices and data security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues specific to Workday Fins, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides for Workday Fins integrations.
• Stay up to date with Workday Fins updates and enhancements, incorporating them into integration strategies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Workday Fins integrations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3 years) working as a Workday Integrations Consultant with a focus on Workday Fins and Workday Studio.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday Fins architecture, including Workday Studio, Integration Cloud (formerly Core Connectors), and calculated fields.
• Strong understanding of integration concepts, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and web services.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues related to Workday Fins integrations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Workday Studio (Hands-on experience only)
