An exciting opportunity is available with a Global FMCG brand with sales in over 100 countries for a Brand Manager to join the growing UK team.  The UK business has grown hugely in the last 10 years with the current customer base including primary retailers within every sector and channel in the UK, they have particularly strong focus amongst the UK Grocery trade.

Based in West Yorkshire and operating a hybrid working model you would have the opportunity to work on recognisable brands, play in a very dynamic FMCG category and be a part of a business with a very strong people agenda and who puts sustainability at the heart of everything it does.  This really is a lovely business with a great team, very strong business ethics and who love to punch well above their weight and make a real difference in the categories where they operate.

You would join a Marketing team of 3 currently, including a Head of Marketing and 2 Junior Brand Managers. You will ideally be someone who finds the idea of working in a smaller team and company set up motivating and rewarding and could see yourself thriving.  

You

  • Location – Comfortable commute to the Leeds city centre RS UK HQ
  • Education – Marketing degree and/or post graduate marketing qualification
  • Experience - Brand manager 3-5 years + experience within branded FMCG
  • Experience –
  • Broad depth and breadth across 3 key areas; #1 Marketing Communications, #2 Innovation & Portfolio development #3 - Retailer development
  • Marketing Comms – experience across ATL & BTL activity & campaign management. ATL Ideal, BTL is essential. Shopper marketing experience desirable.
  • Innovation and project management –  product / portfolio / NPD Strategy, brought products to market from concept to launch, Optimised product ranges. Experience within seasonal and co-pack experience desirable.
  • Retailer facing experience – this is involvements in account strategy from a marketing / shopper marketing perspective, collaboration on retailer presentation development and attendance and presentation at core customer meetings
