We’re looking for a Lead UX Designer to join our Creative Studio to play an integral leadership role in optimising and building new marketing solutions for our storefronts in the UK and US. You will predominantly work alongside our Head of Performance, Website Manager, and Creative Director to help drive online growth. You will have at least 5+ years of experience in-house or at a digital agency as a UX specialist designer—with a portfolio demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and business-driven solutions for your clients.

This is a wholly collaborative role where you will be the lead representative of the marketing UI and share your UX expertise—analysing user behaviour and showing strategic ways to funnel them downwards into the sign-up journey and create themed design systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the performance team to build design systems for our website and app storefronts
  • Work with the Head of Growth and website manager to create a growth roadmap for the website and app stores to help increase conversion rates
  • Analyse test results and offer quick, iterative solutions that improve performance 
  • Work collaboratively with GoHenry’s Product Designers to support user flows in the app, new product launches, and the representation of the app on the GoHenry website 
  • Support marketing campaigns and offer best-in-class solutions for optimising their performance 
  • Manage a midweight designer—helping them to build their UX design skill set and technically craft ideas
  • Support in creating, evolving, and developing brand identity
  • Use a systematic approach in your work, to anticipate the future needs of the business

Who we’re looking for:

  • Substantive experience 7+ years of experience in eCommerce, finance, or equivalent, working in-house or at an agency as a Senior UX designer
  • Able to collaborate directly with software engineering
  • Leading design on key projects with senior stakeholders, presenting concepts, and owning design decisions
  • Skilled in standard software: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
  • A creative individual, yet meticulous with detail, and have a keen sense of craftsmanship
  • Great attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage own projects and to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management which enables you to multi-task and perform well under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.

Bonus Experience

  • FinTech, EdTech, or experience working in an agency is preferred
