The Mission:

As the Distribution Marketing Manager at Flight Studio, your primary mission will be to significantly increase the promotion of our product (the podcast) to new, existing and lapsed customers (our audience). Your mission is to consistently grow the reach and visibility of our diverse podcast portfolio globally. Your efforts will ensure that our content is accessible in new and impactful ways, expanding our audience, and brand impact and enhancing audience experience across global platforms and networks.

  • Innovative Distribution Channels: Identify and implement innovative podcast distribution methods that enable us to significantly grow our reach and impact beyond “standard distribution methods”. This focus here is setting new industry standards, and paths to audience growth ensuring Flight Studio remains a leader in podcast innovation. Similar to previous successes like inclusion on Technogym equipment, Samsung TVs and Inflight Entertainment in over 14 Airlines you will continue to build upon the strong foundations we have built, 
  • Strategic Partnerships: Ensure our relationships and podcast marketing partnerships  with our most important distribution streaming partners are best in class. Creating maximum opportunities to showcase our podcasts.  You will own and elevate our partnerships with Spotify, Apple, Amazon and more, 
  • Launch Network: You will  to elevate and amplify our partnerships with our Launch Network community, driving maximum podcast episode marketing impact 
  • Effective & Innovative Partner Management: Ensure that our existing distribution partnerships are delivered to the highest quality standards, with an expansive growth mindset. Have the ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders both internally and externally to get the best possible results, with a fast paced, solutions and new ideas driven mindset
  • Enhanced Reach Metrics: Achieve a measurable increase in podcast views, listens and download  through and consistently innovative and diversified channel list, that enables our continuous commercial growth

The Competencies:

  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to envision and execute product distribution and marketing strategies that align with company goals and push the boundaries of our work.
  • Business Development Acumen: Strong background in business development or partnership management, with a proven track record of closing deals and marketing outcomes that contribute to business growth.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to think outside the box and devise creative solutions for maximising podcast reach and audience engagement.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the capability to manage and expand client relationships effectively.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years in a marketing or distribution role within the media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in highly effective project management, using tools and technology to deliver maximum effectiveness across multiple projects and teams 
  • Communication and Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and with external partners.

  • London - Shoreditch ~ we are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community.
  • Some roles will require global travel so flexibility in this aspect is important and your hiring manager will confirm this with you during the interview process
