ABOUT THE ROLE

The SEO Manager will be key to delivering best-in-class SEO strategies for our e-commerce clients across fashion, live events and experiences, automobile, and lifestyle sectors in the UK, Europe and the US. 

The position covers all aspects of SEO, including Technical, Content Strategy, Local, International & Off-site, plus support for website migration and redesign projects. You don’t need practical experience across all of these areas, however we expect that you will have strong knowledge of each element.

Collaborating closely with our SEO Director, SEO Executive, and the wider performance marketing team, you’ll deliver outstanding results for our clients. 

You’ll also help shape a future-proofed and cutting-edge search service proposition that embraces AI technology and joins up with other channels and digital platforms such as social media, digital PR and influencer marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute successful SEO strategies, delivering performance against client KPIs across on-site, off-site, technical, content and local SEO
  • Be a strategic lead on specific SEO clients and projects, owning client relationships and uncovering opportunities for growth
  • Proactively lead on SEO audits, search landscape studies and competitor analysis activity
  • Own our approach to off-site SEO, delivering performance through the latest best practices.
  • Coordinate with performance marketing teams to drive SEO as a standard service offering and discover opportunities within our current paid media client base
  • Work closely with paid search specialists to strategise and deliver holistic search services that drive efficiencies and growth
  • Help drive the diversification of our SEO services across platforms like TikTok, whlst playing a key role in shaping our future search proposition.
  • Drive SEO content opportunities and digital PR initiatives
  • Create templates, systems and processes and continually review resourcing and tooling needs to improve our ways of working
  • Contribute to new business pitches, in collaboration with the wider account, new business and senior management teams
  • Work with our web dev and technical SEO teams to ensure we deliver on best-practice technical SEO opportunities
  • Develop effective reporting mechanisms that meet client KPI and performance expectations
  • Keep abreast of SEO and related digital marketing trends, including staying up to date with and attending SEO-related events
  • Consistently deliver a data-driven and test-and-learn approach
  • Be a line manager to a small team of SEO executives, ensuring performance and development growth targets are met
  • Continually feed back SEO issues, opportunities and insights to the SEO Director.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who has genuine curiosity, a hunger to learn, and a passion for keeping on the cutting edge as SEO evolves to encompass AI and wider marketing channels. You’ll also have: 

  • Outstanding experience in delivering successful SEO and/or SEM strategies across a range of clients or projects 
  • Experience in managing key internal stakeholders across teams
  • An outstanding attention to detail, which is essential for success
  • A data-driven approach
  • An approachable and supportive manner to other team members
  • Ability to comfortably take on accountability for performance and outputs on key client accounts.
  • Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with SEO reporting
  • Familiarity with relevant SEO tools (e.g. SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • An analytical mindset with an eye for creative detail.

LOCATION

Our stunning offices are based in the heart of Fitzrovia, minutes walk from Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road and Warren Street stations. 

We currently operate a hybrid working week, including Tuesday-Thursday in the office with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
