When we started back in 2016, we knew that traditional insurance held businesses back. It was too complicated, too expensive and too time consuming. So we set out to change things, building insurance solutions that empower professional drivers throughout the UK and Europe.

Purpose of the role

We are seeking a CMS Administrator/Engineer to join our Marketing team for a fixed term period of 3 months. You will be responsible for collecting requirements and creating content for Zego’s customer facing products, supporting the team on SEO, CRM and Paid Search.

You will have the ability to work independently of engineering or marketing but with collaborative behaviours to ensure appropriate visibility of methodologies and deliverables.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Content Management Systems tools such as Sanity.io or equivalent
  • Experience in gathering and creating requirements for content project and tools
  • Knowledge of web technologies giving the ability to manipulate content of customer facing products independent of engineering team
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering team on best practices and alignment
  • Experience with ensuring high service performance and reliability of customer facing products
  • Excellent knowledge in supporting and maintaining tracking tools for use by marketing
  • Demonstrable knowledge of reporting and analytics capabilities, including exposing as or importing from external data sources.
  • Support and educate team on improvements and evolution of CMS technologies
  • Excellent experience engaging with stakeholders to ensure value has been delivered, and feedback received and incorporated into future work
  • Extensive experience working with Content Management Systems to create customer facing products for e-commerce businesses such as Sanity.io or equivalent
  • Good exposure working alongside web technologies such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS with the ability to make changes to existing code
  • Demonstrable experience working alongside engineering teams with the ability to follow web patterns and understand service performance and load
