As a Marketing Automation Executive within our team, you will play a pivotal role in the meticulous management, analysis, and leveraging of data to drive strategic marketing decisions through the customer journey. Your expertise will be critical in optimising customer interactions, enhancing experiences, and ultimately fostering customer retention and loyalty. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in data-driven insights, automation, and a commitment to achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Automation

  • Run automated flow development from start to finish, including ideation, creative direction, content creation, quality control review, implementation, and post-launch analysis. Working with campaigns and creative team to support business and marketing goals.
  • Optimise customer journeys through data-driven insights, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience.
  • Effectively manage database growth, setting ambitious yet achievable expansion targets.
  • Consider the wider picture, ensuring automations are tailored for individual stores and /or the entire group, creating a cohesive and considered brand experience.
  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies such as Klaviyo, Microsoft Excel, YotPo, BI, and Magento to streamline processes.

Data management and analysis

  • Meticulously collect and manage data from multiple sources, demonstrating an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Perform thorough analysis to discern impactful trends and generate actionable recommendations.
  • Regularly furnish comprehensive reports on key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Translate business and customer insights into compelling marketing automation strategies that align with our company's values and goals.

Templates and compliance

  • Maintain marketing database’, customer data and activity in compliance with relevant policies and laws, including GDPR and Ts & Cs.
  • Develop and update templates for notices, ensuring alignment with policies and inclusion of essential information.
  • Oversee the creation and optimisation of templates for various business marketing channels, ensuring uniformity and effectiveness.
  • From time-to-time, undertake activities as necessary that are outside of key roles and responsibilities as required by the needs of the business.
  • Financial performance: Make sure our budgets are controlled and spent in accordance with our forecasts and budgets agreed as needed.
  • Safety: Ensure that all activities are conducted safely without danger to personnel or equipment.

Requirements

Essential

  • Degree in marketing/related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a similar role within an e-commerce business or digital agency setting.
  • A high level of personal integrity, dependability, and a clear communicator.
  • Great project management skills, including ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and data skills

Desirable

  • Relevant software/platform accreditation..
  • Customer service, retail and/or e-commerce experience.
  • Interest in home improvements and or DIY
  • Experience of a high-growth, fast-moving environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working on multiple brands.
  • An understanding of the current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Privacy legislation.
