Joining ITG on an initial 8 month Fixed Term Contract, this opportunity consists of managing, coordinating and facilitating the design and production of in-store POS in line with M&S objectives and strategic targets.

The Account Manager is responsible for the management and smooth running of all projects briefed to them by M&S stakeholders. The role has a direct line to the Account Director and therefore requires an amount of self-management, self-motivation and impeccable interpersonal skills.

The role works very closely alongside the client (M&S Planning Manager) and takes on many large and high-profile projects, which attract the attention of more senior stakeholders. Therefore, the candidate must be able to keep their head under pressure, and be able to communicate clearly and with confidence, both verbally and in written communications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Chasing creative briefs from marketing teams/other areas of the business to ensure we are receiving briefs with enough time to run through the 6-week creative process
  • Holding weekly catch ups with any clients that require project updates
  • Maintain excellent working relationship with all design leads and have regular informal progress catch ups on jobs so that the status of each creative job is known at all times.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders to ensure sign-off of large briefs run smoothly and on time through design
  • Ensuring pre-production meetings are in place for all BUs per season (every tracker line discussed with all
  • Preparing great briefs for ITG implementation teams rather than relying on M&S studio for all artwork jobs
  • Ensuring POs are raised in good time in advance of the FTP and all issues are flagged in advance with the M&S planning manager

  • You are computer literate with intermediate/advanced knowledge of excel
  • You are highly organised with second-to-none project management skills

  • You are pro-active, motivated and committed to developing own knowledge and skills
  • You hold excellent problem-solving skills, especially under pressure, as well as this you have strong written and interpersonal skills
