Group Email Marketing Specialist

Contract: Full-TimeLocation: Head office (SW13 9JJ)Hybrid working: 3 days in the office per week

Our expanding group of award-winning brands has been established for over 30 years and consists of multiple e-commerce platforms. Our vision is to provide the best service to customers during key events in their life. We believe that their shopping experience as they navigate those big, once in a lifetime milestones, should be exciting, positive and special and we help them make memories.

We started as the home of wedding gift lists - but now The Cambium Group encompasses so much more, supporting customers through life’s milestones every step of the way. Through our flagship brands The Wedding Shop, The Wedding Present Company and Prezola, we help engaged couples build their dream gift lists with an obsessive focus on gold star customer service at every touch point: from our luxury showrooms to our cutting edge tech platforms. Powered up by our long-term investors Phoenix Asset Management, and with a focus on innovation and digital marketing, we’ve now applied these values to new markets too, bringing one of the UK’s leading wedding planning platforms, Rock My Wedding, to the group, along with lifestyle shopping destination The Homeware Outlet. We are also proud to have launched our newest venture, LittleList in 2023, which is set to revolutionise the baby gifting market.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team to manage our email marketing strategy across our three wedding gift list brands and our baby brand. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about email communication, customer relationship management, and has a keen eye for design and data-driven strategies. This candidate must have a strong focus on data-driven strategies and complex personalisation and automation but also be able to create content to engage our audience with a strong eye for design and branding.  This role will work closely with our Marketing Manager as well as collaborate with the rest of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Journey Management: Oversee and continuously improve the customer journey, ensuring engaging and efficient interactions at each touchpoint and create exceptional visual journeys for our customers.

Email Content Creation: Develop, design and execute weekly email content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.

Automated Email Strategies: Implement and manage automated email campaigns that cater to various customer segments.

Reporting and Analysis: Regularly analyse and report on the performance of email campaigns, utilizing insights to drive improvements and strategies.

Email Communication Updates: Obsessively update email communications for clarity, effectiveness, and compliance with the latest standards and practices.

Personal Outreach: Engage in personal outreach efforts, crafting bespoke emails for specific audiences or individuals.

Terms and Conditions Updates: Regularly review and update the terms and conditions in email communications to ensure legal compliance.

Conversion Projects: Lead projects focused on enhancing email conversion rates.

ESP and Personalisation Tools: Lead a project to implement new tools for email personalization and segmentation, ideally using previous experience and knowledge.

New Email Platform Implementation: Ideally using expertise and knowledge, recommend and implement a robust new email platform to enhance our marketing efforts and improve customer journey.
