The Team:

biomodal's Marketing team is small but a highly impactful function that has a global remit.  It encompasses regional marketing, marcomms, and digital marketing, focusing on maximising biomodal's outreach and early adopter engagement.  Given the nature of biomodal's evolution, the Marketing team is highly hands-on and visible throughout the organisation, working with R&D, Informatics, Corporate and senior leadership. 

 

There is a strong customer-focus at biomodal and the Marketing function serves at the front line of this endeavour.

The Role:

As part of biomodal’s growth strategy, we’re looking for an experienced Regional Marketing Manager to cover the UK and Western Europe region; with an initial focus on content marketing, events management and sales enablement. As part of the marketing organisation, you will partner with the Sales Organisation, AMER Regional Marketing, Digital Marketing & Marketing Programs to deliver our field enablement strategy along with the conferences & events schedule for biomodal’s product commercialisation. This is a hands-on, operational role with the potential for career progression as the company expands. Strategy:

Help to define our lead generation and Go to Market strategy at key strategic and regional events, ensuring this meets the needs and requirements of the organisation, while surprising and delighting the customer. This will involve creating a schedule for success that can be communicated and delivered upon by the commercial organisation.

 

Implementation:

Planning & executing external and internal commercial events, managing vendors, shipping, logistics, swag, fulfilment and budget. Creating marketing campaigns and developing content aligned with the global marketing plan, while driving sales engagement and developing customer onboarding programs within the region. Working with digital & sales teams to curate top-of-funnel leads from various 3rd party sources.

 

Voice of the customer:

Collecting sales & customer feedback plus competitor intelligence to succinctly communicate with the commercial organisation, implement improvements, and ensure an optimal customer experience throughout their journey with biomodal.

Requirements

The Person:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate expertise in marketing and event management from within the biotechnology industry sector. They should have experience of working remotely, with the ability to influence others and be a thought leader in customer experience. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to get in at the ground level of biomodal’s growth and thrives on challenge and autonomy.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Demonstrated proven experience in a marketing role, including content creation, campaign management, and events management.
  • Proven experience within the commercial omics sector, preferably within an NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) focussed function.
  • Experience influencing remote teams and driving service excellence in a commercial function is desirable.
  • Competency in additional European language(s) to English is advantageous.
