The SEO Manager Maternity Club will be responsible for the strategy, technical knowledge, execution and analysis to improve inbound performance globally. This role requires the manager to leverage creative and analytical skills to understand the Charlotte Tilbury customer, execute SEO strategy, and quickly iterate and optimize to drive growth and efficient performance. The SEO Manager will be a pro-active communicator and an ambassador for SEO; educating key stakeholders of the importance of SEO, helping it to become "business as usual" in all work.

·Develop and drive the technical roadmap for SEO, ensuring prioritization by business impact.

·Write the technical specs for any developments and calculate the benefits case for each.

·Liaise with the development team to prioritize and push through technical SEO requirements, which meet local optimization strategies.

·Working alongside our PR and Acquisition team, to implement and execute robust SEO strategies, in order to grow and optimize inbound performance across desktop, mobile, and tablet.

·Feed in SEO requirements to the copy team in terms of content, production, and distribution.

·Work with the acquisition team to implement gap analysis and competitor reviews to identify potential threats and opportunities. Analyze keyword rankings and trends to influence and optimize content whilst also taking learnings from our paid search activity and adapt any insights into organic strategies.

·Evaluate and suggest UX changes to improve on-site performance

·Drive the cultural change needed for growth in traffic from inbound performance channels.

·Own our search visibility across all of our markets and work on improving it daily implementing on page optimisations.

·Own overall SEO insight, reporting and tools, including developing a uniform set of KPIs and measures of return on investment, to ensure we are measuring success effectively and consistently.

·Build strong relationships – with internal IT, digital and other teams and external partners, including bloggers and press.

·Stay at the forefront of industry-leading SEO practices.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years hands on SEO experience working in retail environments. You will have a proven ability to work on large scale SEO campaigns, preferably at an international level.
  • Highly commercial and able to deploy a numerate, analytical and evidence-based approach
  • Self-driven and largely self-managing, you’ll be able to motivate a range of internal and external stakeholders and drive change within the business
  • A strong and influential communicator with excellent written and communication skills
  • An excellent understanding of measuring the impact of SEO, tracking KPIs, and deriving insight
  • Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills, able to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects streams
  • Strong HTML5 & XML knowledge as well as solid experience with Chrome Dev Tools, Firebug etc. and in depth understanding of HTTP tracing and web standards and protocols
  • Experience with crawling tools, SERP keyword position tracking tools and keyword research tools and aligned to Google Webmaster Tools guidelines.
