About the Role: 
We are seeking an experienced Events Manager who will bring our Web3 Week Zebu Live conference to life amongst other events. You will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning and managing our events calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, and monitoring timeframes and budgets. Part of the successful delivery of events is networking and delivering on event objectives, including understanding sponsorship and partnership relations.

The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time management. 

Responsibilities:

• Taking end-to-end ownership of the event planning and management process
• Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.

• Ensuring that all events are planned and executed within the agreed budget
• Finding and booking suitable event venues, contractors, and suppliers
• Recruiting, managing, and briefing event staff as required, including third-party suppliers
• Ensuring strict legal compliance across all events
• Attending events and managing an on-site team.
• Handling budgeting and invoicing.
• Liaising and negotiating with vendors.
• Negotiating sponsorship deals.
• Handling logistics - planning, on the day, and de-rig.
• Obtaining permits.
• Managing branding and communication.
• Developing event feedback surveys.
• Handling post-event reports.

Requirements

• Degree in public relations, communications, or hospitality is useful.

• A great track record of managing and organising conferences, meetups, and parties
• Communication and marketing skills.
• Project management experience.
• Good leadership skills.
• Good time management.
• Proficiency in various event software.
• Risk management experience.
