This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Videographer to join a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced camera robotics and game-changing virtual technologies for film, TV, and live broadcast.

Mo-Sys is searching for a Video Content Creator & Editor who is proficient in the entire '360' process. This entails putting together the initial brief, filming content, and meticulously editing post-production with DaVinci Resolve. You will demonstrate comprehensive hands-on experience, encompassing lighting and audio expertise, ensuring a seamless and high-quality production from start to finish.

You will excel in meticulously planning, creating, editing, and delivering digital content that will elevate the Mo-Sys brand. Your work will be showcased; at exhibitions, across social media platforms, on our website, our YouTube channel and beyond. You must have an absolute minimum of five years of experience to be considered for this position.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Crafting a brief from scratch, meticulously planning and setting up the shoot, ensuring optimal camera angles and set conditions. The creation of compelling video content and meticulous post-production editing to deliver a polished final product.
  • This role is non-linear and multifaceted, it involves a wide array of responsibilities, such as product photography.
  • Tailor video content for different platforms and channels, ensuring visuals are optimised to resonate effectively across various mediums.
  • Work closely with the CEO and various team leads to establish initial requirements, translating them into actionable projects, ensuring clear communication is prioritised at all times.
  • Establish and manage a 'content calendar' to ensure that the video strategy aligns seamlessly with the overarching brand objectives.
  • Working with another Videographer in the team, collaborating and bouncing off one another.
  • Identify and address challenges efficiently and effectively, to maintain the flow of production.
  • Demonstrate agility in pivoting and adjusting to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Work autonomously, meticulously managing your own time in alignment with existing and future projects.
  • Maintain and care for equipment, demonstrating respect for the kit.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Ability to deliver high quality videos from start to finish.
  • Proficiency in ‘DaVinci Resolve Studio’ for seamless video editing or a willingness to learn.
  • Technically minded, with a genuine interest in Virtual Production & Mo-Sys products.
  • Experience designing brand content across multiple domains, such as web, desktop and mobile.
  • Ability to communicate operational initiatives and outcomes to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to ‘key’ and ‘composite’ greenscreen workflows.
  • Adept in handling cinema cameras to capture high-quality footage.
  • Ability to independently interpret, create and execute project ‘briefs.’
  • Ability to determine priorities from multiple projects at any one time, ensuring that both internal and external deadlines are met.
  • You are extremely organised, not only in producing content but also in planning, scheduling, delegating and prioritising ahead of and post-production.
  • Strong understanding of audio dynamics, including channels, background noise, and microphone intricacies.
  • Understanding of lighting for effective camera angles.
  • Ability to photograph still images.
  • ‘Unreal Engine’ knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experience Filming with LED walls is beneficial.

Interview Process:

 

Our interviews are quite informal and conversational and generally are carried out over a 3-stage process. To help us learn more about your workplace behaviours and preferences, you’ll be invited to complete a short Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural and Cognitive Assessment. Depending on the position, you may also be requested to undertake a technical assessment. The final stage normally involves meeting with senior members of the management team in our office in North Greenwich, London.
