Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as Employee & Partner Engagement Manager on a 12 month maternity cover contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring organisational initiatives and projects are communicated to employees and stakeholders as well as being part of the operations team working closely with various internal stakeholders to implement better business practices. You’ll also be responsible for attracting new talent into the business through employer branding and marketing initiatives.  

Salary: £40-£48K, Pro-Rated

This position is a maternity cover role with an anticipated duration of 12 months.

Requirements

Operations:

  • Regularly engage with COO, HR, Finance, IT and Learning & Development Manager.
  • Act as a central point of contact for communication-related matters.
  • Ensure new joiners are seamlessly integrated into the company culture and tools.
  • Manage email signature templates.
  • Manage company calendar with events, holidays, and, employee milestones.
  • Coordinate logistics for company meetings and ensure timely communication.
  • Support change and integration initiatives through effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate organisational charts.

 
Internal Comms:

  • Convey strategic messages from board and senior leadership team to the broader organisation.
  • Prepare materials and presentations for company meetings.
  • Develop content for various internal communications platforms to communicate company news and updates.
  • Coordinate distribution of updates via intranet, email, and meetings.
  • Foster transparency and engagement through timely updates.


Talent Attraction:

  • Develop campaigns highlighting company culture and values.
  • Leverage social media and industry events to enhance employer brand.
  • Promote the graduate programme.
  • Assist recruitment efforts including job postings and candidate screening.
  • Engage associates and suppliers through regular communication and events.


Employee Engagement:

  • Design and disseminate employee surveys.
  • Analyse survey results and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Manage recognition programme, monitor effectiveness, and adjust as needed.
  • Organise regular town hall meetings for company-wide updates.
  • Manage content creation and curation on the company intranet.


Key Skills:

  • Technology proficiency: Utilise tools like HubSpot, Teams, and other platforms effectively.
  • Writing skills: You need excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills and the ability to source stories from employees.
  • Interpersonal skills: You need good interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional departments. You will also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior leaders and be able to explain communication techniques need to them.
  • Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies and content.
  • Multitasking skills: You need to be skilled at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively, and adeptly adjusting to shifting priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or related roles.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and employee engagement strategies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
