We have an amazing opportunity to join the Walnut team as our Senior Marketing Executive.

In this highly visible role you will own the B2B marketing output for UNLIMITED’s Insights and Analytics division (Walnut Unlimited and Realise Unlimited).

You will be responsible for all external marketing materials, including website, print, digital, email marketing and social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with a view to raising the agencies profile.

You will liaise with stakeholders across the business to effectively interpret and communicate our human understanding proposition. Planning and executing a fully rounded marketing plan that is aligned with our wider UNLIMITED agencies, you’ll be a mouthpiece for the news, content and achievements of the agency to the wider world, whilst also generating commercial opportunity for the business through marketing endeavours.

You will be highly organised, a real self-starter, with experience of delivering engaging marketing content, PR and social campaigns. Great communications skills and a solid understanding of marketing principles are a must have in this varied and fantastic opportunity.

In this role you will get to:

  • Take responsibility for all external marketing vehicles, including email marketing, social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) website, print and digital to foster positive engagement.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and design teams to create on-brand, engaging and visually appealing content, thought leadership, newsletters and campaigns that stand out in a crowded marketplace.
  • Plan and execute a fully rounded marketing plan that is aligned with our business priorities, and those of the wider UNLIMITED agencies.
  • Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to ensure that all content and events dovetail with and supports the New Business Plan and prospecting campaigns.
  • Create and coordinate entries into awards programmes (such as MRS Oppies, MRS Awards, AQR Awards) that stand out from the crowd and lead to nominations and wins – keeping us competitive in the market. Manage attendance, press coverage, budget and administration.
  • Manage the annual events calendar and organise attendance - conceptualise, co-ordinate and execute live and digital events that promote, raise awareness, and communicate our proposition to the marketplace.
  • Build relationships with relevant industry publications, actively identify opportunities to raise the agency’s profile with publicity through thought leadership, news and campaign launches.
  • Seek, manage and secure opportunities for advertising and speaking for key agency figures at leading industry events.
  • Assist with internal communication initiatives within the agency - engaging the agency with marketing updates and workstreams.

Requirements

Who will you be?

  • An established B2B Marketing Executive with experience gained in a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally within a Market Research, Insight, Creative or Digital agency.
  • You’ll have a sound knowledge of the full marketing mix, including social media, PR, with proven ability to create content that delivers.
  • You’ll have an evolutionary mindset, you’ll be forward thinking and creative, generating out of the box ideas to help our brands stand out in a crowded market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn but also educate – lunch and learns, Ned Talks, etc, you’ll be a confident presenter.
  • An excellent writer, with the ability to write creatively to enable the translation of insights to engage wider audiences.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills.
  • You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Highly motivated and inspiring to extract the most knowledge and support from the wider team whose input will be their primary resource.
  • Seek to maximise return on activity, by working effectively and being commercially-minded – keeping leads in the sales funnel.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot CRM tool, WordPress website platform and MS Suite, with a basic understanding of design principles
  • Treat all colleagues, clients and suppliers with courtesy, honesty, politeness and sensitivity, acting as a role model and helping to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.
