The Role:

The Senior Innovation Manager will actively drive the creation and delivery the Nelsons Innovation Pipeline, driving consumer focused, creativity & innovation and ensuring we deliver on our objective of being a leader in natural wellness.

Key responsibilities:

·       Lead the NPD team, fostering creativity and innovation while ensuring alignment with consumer needs.

·       Generate and consolidate innovative ideas and manage the development of new products, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives.

·       Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute NPD projects efficiently, maintaining communication and problem-solving.

·       Oversee the NPD process, optimising it for continuous improvement and adherence to timelines.

·       Manage retail price points and cost alignment with margin targets, forecasting opportunities and refining the product portfolio.

·       Contribute to ESG strategy and represent the company at relevant events, ensuring alignment with innovation initiatives.

·       Inspire creativity throughout the business, inputting into company strategy discussions and sessions.

·       Undertake other reasonable tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to overall objectives.

Requirements

We’d love you to have:

·       Demonstrable experience in a product development role at a Senior level, preferably in a regulated environment.

·       Experience in multiple product development environments e.g., brand, retail, manufacture.

·       Proven track record of success developing new products in a global business.

·       Experience of working with 3rd parties i.e., agencies, suppliers, clinicals, licensing, development projects.

·       Interest in the natural wellness category.
